Let’s say the ground wasn’t easy to ride on plus it wasn’t the first hill this morning – good on Caspar for not giving in completely and pushing up!
Riding around the Palace (Schloss Friedenstein) in Gotha grounds with its Orangery & Museum.
It´s not always fields and countryside as we make our way under the subway towards the city of Gotha.
Get set! Go! Taking advantage of the bike path to give all team members a good run out today. Enjoying a bit of banter as they go.
The firemen left some fallen trees along the cycle way for the boys to negotiate. Here the boys clearing enough branches away to weave their way through the triple fallen tree tunnel (Mama and Papa had to make more of a detour and push their bikes and trailers through a neighbouring field). The storm did a lot of damage as we counted nineteen fallen trees along the way today.
Not quite yet – bedtime stories first and getting used to not wriggling too much or getting prickled or tickled by the hay!
Mud and stone bombs and swimming in The Hörsel – would you believe that an hour later we witnessed trees falling in a freak storm.
Or not in the case of this little blue butterfly – who hitched a lift with Mama.
